“Georgian Ecotourism Association” is working on the project “Creating a network of greenways in Georgia and promoting the development of ecotourism in Lanchkhuti, Tianeti and Akhmeta municipalities”, which is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) within the framework of the project “Supporting the implementation of the forest sector reform in Georgia – ECO.Georgia”. The project is implemented with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). The project aims to: encourage a healthy lifestyle create an experience for visitors to the municipality, improve the socio-economic conditions of the local population in the direction of ecotourism popularize the historical and cultural heritage of the municipalities
Within the framework of the project, three green routes will be created, which will become part of the European Greenways Network.
